Georgine L. 'Dodo' Porch
Georgine L. “Dodo” Porch, 74, of Butler passed away Wednesday morning at the VNA Inpatient Hospice.
Born on Oct. 16, 1939, in Butler, she was a daughter of the late George “Butts” Colley and Mina (Watt) Colley.
She was a homemaker and was a member of the St. Fidelis Roman Catholic Church, Meridian. She helped establish the Penn Township Volunteer Ambulance Service and volunteered for many organizations, including the VNA Inpatient Hospice and the Community Health Clinic, both in Butler.
Surviving are her husband, Ronald S. Porch, who she married in 1960; her three children, David T. (Crystal) Porch of Butler, Melissa (Chris) Richards of Marion, Ind., and Christopher S. (Candis) Porch of Butler; her daughter-in-law, Tamara (Carl) Porch Kleinfelder of Slippery Rock, who was married to Georgine’s late son, Jeffrey Porch; her seven grandchildren, Alyce (Gregory) Acre of Slippery Rock, Ronald G. Porch, Nichole Porch, Monika Porch, Tifany Boring and Ryan J. Porch, all of Butler, and Julia Kleinfelder of Saxonburg; her sister, Suzanne Colley of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.; her sister-in-law, Karen (Jim) Vargo of Butler; her two nephews, Kenneth (Jane) Colley of Virginia and Todd (Dannjean) Colley of Butler; and a number of great-nieces and great-nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Jeffrey Porch, who died in 1997, and her brother, George Colley, who died in 1996.

Cunningham St., Butler.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at the St. Fidelis Roman Catholic Church, 125 Buttercup Road, Meridian.
