Susan Louise Lewis, 57, of Yellow Creek Road, Harmony, formerly of the Volant and New Wilmington area, passed away Wednesday at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, from a stroke caused in part by complications after the H1N1 flu.

Sue was born in Volant on April 15, 1957, to James and Naomi Goodwill Fobes.

She married Robert S. Lewis on Aug. 16, 1992, and they were together since 1985.

She graduated from Wilmington High School in 1975. She retired as a footware manager for Footstar at Kmart. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, animals and her pets.

Survivors include her husband, Bob Lewis of the residence in Harmony; her mother, Naomi Fobes of the Overlook Medical Clinic, New Wilmington; her stepdaughter, Erin Yvonne Medley and her husband, Gabe, of Baltimore, Md.; her grandson, Marcel Medley; her sister, Dorothy Campbell and her husband, Ken, of Volant, and her brother, Steve Fobes and his wife, Cindy, of Volant.

Lewis— Visitation for Susan Louise Lewis, who passed away Wednesday, July 9, 2014, will be from 11 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Smith Funeral Home, 310 W. Neshannock Ave., New Wilmington. Interment will follow at Mt.
