MARS — Mars Area Public Library will offer two after school book clubs beginning in September.

Third- and fourth-graders will meet at 4 p.m. on the second Thursday each month.

Fifth- and sixth-graders will meet at 4 p.m. on the third Thursday each month.

EVANS CITY — The Evans City Public Library, 204 S. Jackson St., invites individuals of all ages to decorate bird houses for “It's a Bird Thing.”Birdhouses are available at the library. Individuals may choose one, take it home, decorate it and return it to the library by Sept. 2.All the birdhouses will be on display at the library through Sept. 20.For more information, call the library at 724-538-8695.
