Ruth J. Parker May Ripper Hasselback

Ruth J. Parker May Ripper Hasselback, 89, of Saxonburg passed away Wednesday at the Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Butler.

Born on Sept. 14, 1924, in Webster, Fla., she was the daughter of the late Judge P. Parker and Annie S. Branch Parker.

Ruth was a homemaker. She was a member of the First Church of God, Brackenridge.

She enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting and attending her church.

Surviving are her two daughters, Joan May (Dennis) Morgan of Anchorage, Alaska, and Patsy May (Bill) Myers of Natrona Heights; her seven stepchildren; her seven grandchildren, and her 12 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, John Jeffrey May; her daughter, Alice May Kirkner; her first husband, John E. May; her second husband, Dale Ripper; her third husband, Walter Hasselback, and her 15 brothers and sisters.

Hasselback — The friends of Ruth J. Parker May Ripper Hasselback, who passed away Wednesday, July 16, 2014, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at the Fox Funeral Home, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Vance Neal officiating.
