Teresa C. Minto
Teresa C. Minto, 71, of Butler passed away Wednesday evening at VNA Inpatient Hospice, Butler.
Born Dec. 2, 1942, in Butler, she was the daughter of the late Max Baptiste and Mary (Morello) Baptiste.
Teresa had worked at Butler Memorial Hospital, was an active member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler, had enjoyed arts and crafts, and was a loving mother and grandmother.
Surviving are her son, Edward G. Minto Jr. of Butler; her daughter, Lori Minto Hollinger of Butler; her five grandchildren, Brittany Gladd of Wilmington, N.C., and Tyler Gladd, Maddy Gladd, Jeremy Minto and Nathan Minto, all of Butler; and her brother, Max Baptiste of Butler.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward G. “Puggy” Minto Sr., who she married May 1, 1965, and who died Jan. 21, 2003, and her brother, Albert D. Baptiste.
Minto— A mass of Christian burial for Teresa C. Minto, who passed away Wednesday, July 16, 2014, will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 128 N. McKean St., Butler, with the Rev. Harry Bielewicz, pastor, officiating. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Butler.Arrangements are by Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler.St. Paul's Catholic Women and Christian Mothers will meet at 9 a.m. Saturday at the church to recite the rosary.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Paul Church, 128 N.
