James Edward Fleischer
James Edward Fleischer, 56, of Butler passed away Saturday at Butler Memorial Hospital.
He was born on May 5, 1958, in Butler, to the late Ray and Marian (Risch) Fleischer.
He was a member of the St. Andrew’s Roman Catholic Church.
James was always known for his generosity and kindness. He was a self-employed mechanic who enjoyed working on cars and riding his Harley.
James formerly drove entertainer coaches for music performers, such as Pink Floyd, the Beach Boys, Jethro Tull, Ozzie Osborne, Cheap Trick, and many others for 25 years.
James is survived by his wife, Lucinda (Green) Fleischer, who he married on Dec. 10, 2005; his son, James Adam Fleischer of Butler; his stepson, David P. Mills and his wife, Michelle, of Butler; his two grandchildren; his four stepgrandchildren, and his niece.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, John Fleischer.
Fleischer — The friends of James Edward Fleischer of Butler, who passed away Saturday, July 19, 2014, will be received from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler. A blessing service will immediately follow at 12:30 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Nicholas J. Argentieri of St. Andrew's Roman Catholic Church officiating.
