Martin Minto Jr.
Martin Minto Jr., 83, of Butler passed away Monday at the Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
He was born on Oct. 23, 1930, in Butler, to the late Martin Minto Sr. and Margaret (Daniels) Minto.
Mr. Minto was a graduate of Butler High School and a veteran of the U.S. Army, where he served as a corporal.
He worked at Pullman Standard until its closure, then he was a self-employed barber.
Mr. Minto was a member of the Saints Peter and Paul Ukrainian Orthodox Church.
He enjoyed golf and playing the saxophone.
Mr. Minto is survived by his two sons, Dean Minto and Brian Minto and his wife, Heidi, both of Butler; his three grandchildren, Megan, Matthew and Samantha; his two brothers, Richard Minto and his wife, Brenda, and Nicholas Minto and his wife, Elaine, both of Butler, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Edward Minto.
