Sally McGinnis Jones Rodgers

Sally McGinnis Jones Rodgers, 85, of Zelienople passed away Sunday at VNA Hospice, Butler.

Born on Jan. 19, 1929, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Erma A. McGinnis.

Sally was an avid artist whose paintings are hanging in the Butler Art Center. In the late 1980s, she owned and operated the Neff House Bed and Breakfast, Harmony.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her three children, Leslie Lennox and her husband, Clifford, of Connecticut, David Jones of Warrendale and Katie Rymer and her husband, Gregory, of Mars; her former daughter-in-law, Diana Lynn Jones; her four grandchildren, Anne Michelle Vogt, Adam Michael Jones, Cody Allen Jones and Kaitlin Nicole Rymer; her three great-grandchildren, Skylar, Blare and Tosh; and her many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her six siblings; her first husband, Leslie John “Bud” Jones; and her second husband, Joseph Keeling Rodgers.

Rodgers— A celebration of life for Sally McGinnis Jones Rodgers, who passed away Sunday, Aug. 3, 2014, will be later by her family.Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Boylan Funeral Home, 324 E.
