Madelynn Marburger and Samuel Barkley

An Oct. 25 wedding is being planned by Madelynn Reed Marburger and Samuel John Barkley, both of Evans City.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Gordon and Diane Marburger of Evans City. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are John and Wendy Barkley of Evans City.

The future bride is a 2007 graduate of Mars High School and a 2011 graduate of Penn State University.

She is a CPA employed at Highmark in Pittsburgh.

Her fiance graduated from Seneca Valley High School in 2008 and from Rosedale Technical Institute in 2011.

He is employed as a master technician at Toyota of North Hills.
