Donald Lee Snyder, 73, of Hubbard, Ohio, passed away at 6 p.m. Thursday at his residence.

He was born in Rimersburg, Clarion County, on Aug. 26, 1941, to the Rev. Clarence S. Snyder and Helen Katherine Mahood Snyder.

He retired from Sharon Steel. He attended the Church of God in Girard, Ohio, and was a former member of the Leesburg Church of God, where his father was the founding minister.

He is survived by one daughter, Cindy Mariacher of Mercer; one son, Brian Snyder of New Castle; one brother, Gary Snyder of Goshen, Ky.; five sisters, Dolores Shirey of Girard, Ohio, Patricia Hanna of Niles, Ohio, Audrey Gill of Harrisville, Ginger Ealy of Mercer and Cheri Caldwell of Farrell; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Donna Risch Knight.

SNYDER — Visitation for Donald Lee Snyder, who died Thursday, Aug. 28, 2014, will be Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m. at the Smith Funeral Home of Leesburg, 1778 Perry Highway, Volant.Additional visitation will take place Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev.
