Dorothy Jane Marshall-Emery
Dorothy Jane Marshall-Emery, 76, of Butler passed away at 5:14 p.m. Wednesday at the VNA Inpatient Hospice, Butler.
She was born on June 28, 1938, in Blairsville, to the late Alice Marshall Stross.
Dorothy managed Green Acre Apartments and Greater Butler Mart for 30 years, retiring in April 2011.
She was a member of the North Street Christian Church and enjoyed gardening, outdoors and her family.
Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Lori L. (John) Duncan of Butler; her brother, Michael (Karen) Small of Florida; her two nieces, Kelly Michalas and Krista Small, and her great-niece, Madelynn Michalas.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas W. Emery, who she married on Oct. 6, 1979, and who passed away on Sept. 11, 2010.
