Charles M. Gross, 70, of Evans City passed away peacefully Thursday in the comfort of his home surrounded by his family. He was the beloved husband of 45 years to Linda M. (Schrim) Gross.

Born on Nov. 25, 1943, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Herman and Ellen (Nedley) Gross.

Chuck worked at U.S. Steel for 20 years and retired from Westinghouse (Curtis Wright) in Cheswick.

In addition to his wife, Chuck leaves behind to cherish his memory his son, Aaron Gross and his wife, Michele, of Virginia; his daughter, Jennifer Gross of Evans City; his sister, Barbara Kunsak and her husband, Kenneth, of Pittsburgh; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Chuck was preceded in death by his brother, Daniel (Leslie) Gross.

GROSS — The family of Charles M. Gross, who died Thursday, Sept. 18, 2014, will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Boylan Funeral Home, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.A blessing service will be in Chuck's honor at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Lawrence R.
