Alfred J. Artzberger
Alfred J. Artzberger, 86, of Bloomfield Hills, Mich., passed away on Sept. 20.
He was born on Jan. 10, 1928, in Fox Chapel to the late Louis Artzberger and Margaret Jerling.
Al graduated from Thiel College with a Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry in 1950. During college, he was a proud member of Sigma Phi Epsilon. He also received an industrial management degree from Carnegie Mellon University.
Al worked for Pittsburgh Paint and Glass for 13 years, then DuPont's Auto Paint Division.
He was the beloved husband of Donna Lee (née McCandless) for 62 years; dear father of Kimberly (James) Lyne, William (Suzi), Lesa (Edward) Lane, and George (Jo Ann Mitchell); cherished grandfather of Karlee, Jaimee, Audra, Adam, Emily, and Georgia, and brother of Robert and the late Louis and James.
