William 'Bill' Durci

William “Bill” Durci, 85, of Sarver passed away Wednesday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born on Feb. 8, 1929, in Natrona Heights, he was the son of the late John and Maryann Gaydos Durci.

Bill was a U.S. Army veteran, stationed in Alaska.

He worked as a millwright for US Steel for more than 30 years. Bill enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and spending time with his family.

Surviving are his loving children, James (Anita Overbo) Durci of Sarver, Shirley Robinson of Cabot, Carol (Charles) Kondratowicz of Saxonburg, and Patti (Maurice) Zajacs of Saxonburg; his eight grandchildren, Deanna, Kenny, Jonathan, Keith, Jenny, Andrew, Colt, and Derek; his six great-grandchildren, and his sister, Margaret Seita of Natrona Heights.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, William Durci; his four brothers, and his two sisters.

Durci — The friends of William “Bill” Durci, who passed away Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2014, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Fox Funeral Home, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 315 Stoney Hollow Road, Cabot. Interment with military honors will follow in Mt.
