Carol 'Pooch' Eichenlaub

Carol “Pooch” Eichenlaub, 79, formerly of Butler, passed away peacefully Friday in Brazoria, Texas, surrounded by her loving family.

She was the daughter of the late Elda and Louis Fogel of Butler and the beloved wife of the late Ronald “Ike” Eichenlaub, who preceded her in death in 2010. Pooch and Ike were blessed to spend 51 wonderful years together while eventually enjoying their “Golden Years” together in Ocala, Fla.

Carol “Pooch” Eichenlaub leaves loving and special memories to be cherished by her children, Lori (Michael) Duffy of Tallahassee, Fla., Jay (Ingrid) Eichenlaub of Brazoria, Texas, and Jenna Eichenlaub of Pittsburgh, and her six grandchildren, Julie, Chad and Bryan Duffy, and Nichole, Tyler “T.J.” and Lacey Eichenlaub.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Ronald (Sue) Fogel of Santa Rosa Beach, Fla.; her sister, Sally Lou (Richard) Trabert of Louden, Tenn., and a grandson.

Eichenlaub — Private service arrangements in Butler for Carol “Pooch” Eichenlaub, who passed away Friday, Oct. 10, 2014, will be announced later.
