11:02 a.m. Monday — David Gates, 45, of Butler was charged with retail theft after allegedly stealing $648 worth of merchandise from Kohl's at Butler Crossing.Gates later was arraigned and placed in Butler County Prison.Nov. 27 — Jessica Mysliview, 34, of Pittsburgh was charged with DUI following a traffic stop along Route 422.
Wednesday — Unknown suspects stole a stop sign at the intersection of Bullcreek Road and Mushrush Road in Jefferson Township. The value of the sign is $300.Tuesday — Devin R. Schrecengost, 18, of Parker reported someone stole a dirt bike from the front porch of his grandfather's home in the 500 block of Washington Street in Parker.Schrecengost told police he parked the Yamaha YZ-250 on the porch at about 1 a.m. Tuesday. When he returned to get the bike, it was missing.Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 724-284-8100.Dec. 15 — Jennifer L. Pash, 22, of Butler reported someone stole her iPod, valued at $200, from a home in the 300 block of Geibel Road in Summit Township.Dec. 8 — Jean Neel, 63, of Butler reported her bank card was used for an unauthorized $300 purchase in a Target store in Brooklyn, N.Y.
Noon Monday — A car driven by Judy L. Quast-Coulter, 51, of Grove City crashed into bushes along Scrubgrass Road in Wolf Creek Township, Mercer County.Police said the front left tire of Quast-Coulter's car lost air, causing her to lose control of the vehicle.2:55 p.m. Sunday — A car driven by Jensine D. Bartholomew, 18, of Grove City crashed along Route 58 in Findley Township, Mercer County.Police said Bartholomew's car spun into a ditch just east of West Schiestle Road. Bartholomew was transported to Grove City Medical Center with minor injuries.She was cited for a traffic lane violation.
