Lorraine Sinz

Lorraine S. Sinz, 62, of Butler passed away Friday at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh.

Born on July 12, 1952, in Kittanning, she was a daughter of the late Joseph A. and Dolores E. Carson Mennor.

She was employed as a secretary for the Blue Bird Bus Co. in Pittsburgh for nearly 10 years.

She was a member of the St. John Roman Catholic Church in Fenelton. She was also a member of The Card Club in Fenelton, and she enjoyed playing bingo.

Surviving are her husband, Lawrence M. Sinz, who she married on Sept. 27, 1975; her daughter, Mindy Sinz of Pittsburgh; her brothers and sisters, David (Sharon) Mennor of Washington Courthouse, Ohio, Joseph J. Mennor of Fenelton, Janet (Steve) Willetts of Fenelton, Elaine (Scott) Daily of Cowansville, Maggie Schmitt of Gibsonia, Carol (Kenneth) Schroth of Fenelton and Jeffery (Tammy) Mennor of Fenelton; her brother and sister-in-law, James (Jean) Sinz of Hatfield; and her numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Sinz— The friends of Lorraine S. Sinz, who passed away Friday, Nov. 28, 2014, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 128 N. McKean St., Butler.
