Ksenia Pelech

Ksenia Pelech, 92, of Lyndora passed away Saturday evening at the Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Born on March 3, 1922, in Poland, she was a daughter of the late Mychailo Martyniuk and Alexandra Woitowitch Martyniuk.

She was a homemaker and member of the St. Michael Greek Catholic Church in Lyndora.

Ksenia enjoyed sewing, crocheting, needlepoint and gardening. She loved flowers.

Surviving are her two daughters, Olga (John) Edinger of Butler and Kathryn (Ronald) Pelech-Plunkard of Slippery Rock, and her grandson, John Edinger Jr. of Butler.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jaroslaw Pelech, who she married on May 14, 1947, in Germany, and who died on July 23, 2014, and by her two brothers.

Pelech— The friends of Ksenia Pelech, who passed away Saturday, Dec. 6, 2014, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. today at theGeibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler.Parastas services will be at 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
