Paul Douglas Zeits
Paul Douglas Zeits, 71, of Cranberry Township passed away Thursday at the VA Medical Center in Pittsburgh.
Born on Aug. 2, 1943, in Lima, Ohio, he was the son of the late Mary Eleanor VanSkiver Zeits.
Paul proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force.
He was an active member of the Elks Lodge 2249 of Cranberry Township and the Mars VFW Post 7505.
During his free time, Paul loved golfing, boating, driving his sports car and cooking, but above all, spending time with his family and friends. He will be most remembered as a man who was always willing to help those in need and who truly made a difference in all of the lives he touched throughout his life.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his beloved wife of 48 years, Joyce Barron Zeits, who he married on May 3, 1966; his two loving children, Tracie (Donald) Smith and Darren (Tina) Zeits; his seven adored grandchildren, Maria, Victoria, Tiffany, Anna Marie, Abby, Darren Lee and Rachel; and his four-legged companion, Taco.
In addition to his mother, Paul was preceded in death by his brother, David Zeits.
