John T. Haefner
John T. Haefner, 88, of Harmony, formerly of Wexford, passed away Sunday evening at the Passavant Retirement Community in Zelienople.
Born on May 15, 1926, in Wexford, he was the son of the late William and Stella Wilding Haefner.
He was a member of St. Alphonsus Roman Catholic Church in Wexford and the Knights of Columbus at the church.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.
He was a body and fender man working at Bilco Motors, Wexford Motor Sales and Team Transport.
Surviving are his wife, Frances Anderson of Harmony; his daughter, Lois Cunningham of Wildwood; his four stepsons, Michael (Tracey) Anderson of Harmony, Martin Anderson of Columbus, Ohio, Thomas Anderson of Zelienople, and John Anderson of Butler; his sister, Anna King of Allison Park; his three grandchildren, Daniel (Lorraine) Robert, Lawrence (Jackie) William and Kelly Shawn Cunningham; his five great-grandchildren, Samantha Jo, Jacob, Kyle, Erica and Tristan; his six step-grandchildren, and his five step-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Lois Burkhart Haefner, and his 14 brothers and sisters.

Haefner, who passed away Sunday, Dec. 7, 2014, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars.A blessing service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev.
