Stephen and Carrie Hartley and their son, Daniel, joined hundreds of other Butler County residents Thursday for the 42nd annual March for Life in Washington, D.C. Seven buses left Butler for the event, which included a rally on the National Mall, the march up to Capitol Hill, and visits with senators and congressmen. The anti-abortion event is held on the anniversary of the Supreme Court’s ruling in the landmark Roe vs. Wade case that made the procedure legal nationwide.
