George H. Powell
George H. Powell, 86, of Valencia passed away Friday.
He was the loving father of Linda Cusack, John Powell, William Powell, Sandra Brugere, Sharon Blitzer and Jennifer Messina; stepfather of Barb Simon, Kathy Brown and Bill Thompson; and brother of Evelyn Anderson, Corrine Grimaldi and David Powell. He is also survived by his 19 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
George was a longtime resident and maintenance supervisor with Fresh Air Camp, now Family Resources Camp, in Cranberry Township.
He was an avid woodworker who enjoyed gardening, was a talented painter and artist and loved to tell stories.
