John Vesztergom
John Vesztergom, 91, of the Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, formerly of Saxonburg, passed away Saturday at the Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Born on May 15, 1923, in Hungary, he was the son of the late Kondrad and Maria Kurali Vesztergom.
John was retired from the Arsinal Sausage Co. in Pittsburgh, and he also had a farm in Saxonburg for 50 years.
Surviving are his two sons, John Vesztergom of North Huntingdon and Laszlo Vesztergom of Sarver; his three daughters, Theresa (Joseph) Brandt of Monroeville, Anna (David) Dickson of Butler and Magdalena Vesztergom of Butler; nine grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Magdalena Vesztergom, on Sept. 29, 2011; his four brothers; his five sisters; two grandsons, Michael Brandt and Derek Dickson, and his daughter-in-law, Jane Vesztergom.
Vesztergom— The friends of John Vesztergom, who passed away Saturday, Jan. 17, 2015, will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at theFox Funeral Home, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with John's grandson, the Rev. David Dickson, officiating.
