Betty Jane Milligan Evans, 81, of Portersville went to be with Our Lord on Friday.

Born on June 16, 1933, in Pittsburgh, she was a daughter of the late Louis and Anna Mutz Milligan.

Mrs. Evans was a member of the Aliquippa Baptist Temple.

She is survived by her husband of more than 50 years, Herbert F. Evans; her two daughters and sons-in-law, Denise and Dave Erfort and Kathy and Curt Hallberg; her four grandchildren, Janice Hone, Mary Erfort, Kristyn Wilcox and Curt A. Hallberg; her six great-grandchildren, Justin and Brenden Hone, and Brynna, Adelyn, Braden and Trezden Wilcox; and her sister and brother-in-law, Myrtle and Donald Loadman.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Louis Milligan.

Evans — The friends of Betty Jane Milligan Evans, who passed away Friday, Jan. 23, 2015, will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday in theTatalovich Funeral Home, 2205 McMinn St., Aliquippa.Family and friends will gather at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Aliquippa Baptist Temple, 2105 Main St., Aliquippa, with the Rev. Ronald Cunningham, Betty's pastor, officiating. Private interment will take place in Beaver Cemetery, Beaver.
