Maxine G. Dull Allison
Maxine G. Dull Allison, 83, of New Castle Road, Slippery Rock, passed away at 11 p.m. Monday at her home.
She was born on Jan. 4, 1932, in West Sunbury to the late Ralph Wilson Dull and Pearl Carrothers Dull.
She married Harry Andrew Allison in April 1947.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Slippery Rock and the American Legion Auxillary of Slippery Rock.
Maxine enjoyed traveling and camping and shopping. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include her husband, Harry Allison at home; her two daughters, Sandra Christley (Gary) of Slippery Rock and Connie Hesselgesser (Gary) of Slippery Rock; her three sons, Gary Lee Allison (Rennae) of Harrisville, Terry Allison of Slippery Rock and Daryl Allison of Harrisville; her two sisters, Vera Briggs (Leon) of Portsmouth, Va., and Wanda Keller of Slippery Rock; her brother, Gerald R. Dull (Marilynn) of Fredonia; her 11 grandchildren; and her 10 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two brothers, Virgil Eugene Dull and Edward W. Dull.
Allison — The family of Maxine G. Dull Allison, who passed away Monday, Feb. 9, 2015, will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the Smith Funeral Home, 421 New Castle St., Slippery Rock.Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Keith McIlwain, pastor of the Slippery Rock United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will be in Slippery Rock Cemetery.Memorials may be made to Butler Administration Hospital, Butler, PA 16001.
