Ruth G. Tackett
Ruth G. Tackett, 81, of Bradford passed away Sunday at the Bradford Ecumenical Home.
She was born on Nov. 30, 1933, in Butler to the late Andrew Graham and Emarilla Davison Graham.
Ruth was a 1951 graduate of Bradford Area High School and went on to earn a degree in nursing at the Presbyterian Hospital School of Nursing in Pittsburgh.
She worked as a nurse at the Children's Hospital in Pittsburgh and at the VA of Buffalo, N.Y.
Ruth enjoyed music and had been a member of a pipe and drum corps and the Girl Scouts when younger.
Ruth is survived by her sister, Nancy J. Sheakley of New Wilmington, and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Autumn Tackett.
