Nicholas F. Noa
Nicholas Francis Noa, 37, of Justin, Texas, formerly of Butler, passed away Thursday at his sister's home.
He was born May 20, 1977, in Butler, the son of the late Moana Aleki Noa of Somoa and Pamela (Barhight) Smith of Butler.
Nicholas was a U.S. Marine, having served with the 1st Marine division, 3rd tracks Alpha Co. in Iraq. He was the administrator of several military support pages helping suicide prevention.
Surviving are his wife, Desiree Renee (Arr) Noa of Justin, Texas; three daughters, Alana Renee Noa, Megan Michelle Noa and Phoebe Ann Noa, and one son, Aaron Kai Noa, all at home; and three sisters, Linda Noa of Butler, Courtney Kern of Boyers and Cheri Stoughton Readie of Butler.
NOA — Friends of Nicholas Francis Noa, who died Thursday, March 12, 2015, will be received at the Young Funeral Home, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler, from noon until time of service at 4 p.m. Monday.Military honors by the VFW Post 249, Lyndora, the American Legion 778 and the Butler American Legion 117 will be held following the service.Interment will be private.
