“It all happened around 40 years ago.

They took me to a place

I didn't really know.

“They took me away from you in our past,

For they did not know

My love for you would always last.

For they did not know, what we had,

I guess they forgot, YOU ARE MY DAD.

“You were always there for me

And never made me cry,

Until the day I saw you close your eyes

And I had to say my last good bye.

“In our life we had pain, love and fun

But my favorite part of it all

Is when you looked at me

And called me “Son.”

Love You, Dad.

— Kenny
