Randy Scott Dennis
Randy Scott Dennis of Harrisville passed away Wednesday morning in the emergency room of the Grove City Medical Center, Pine Township. He was 54.
Randy was born in Rochester on April 20, 1960, to William “David” and Florence Elizabeth Trimbath Dennis.
He was a 1979 graduate of Slippery Rock High School where he played football and was a running back for the team.
Randy owned and operated R.&R. Industrial Supply since 2001. Formerly, he was employed by the former Traval Contractors Supply, Grove City, for 20 years.
Randy enjoyed and owned a 1966 Ford Fairlane, and he was a member of the Fairlane Club of America. Formerly he bowled in a Grove City bowling league. He enjoyed spending time with his family, hunting, sports and watching NASCAR. He was a Protestant.
Survivors include his daughter, Megan R. Dennis, Harrisville; his mother, Florence E. Dennis, Harrisville; two brothers, David A. Dennis and his wife, Carol, and Keith Dennis and his wife, Mary Irene, both of Grove City; three nieces, Tiffany Hassel and her husband, Steve, Lisa Rihel and her husband, Sean, and Miranda Toth and her husband, Brian, all of Grove City; three nephews, Raymond Dennis and his wife, Judy, Dustin Castor and his wife, Trisha, and Kyle Dennis, all of Grove City; two great-nieces, Hallie and Brooke Rihel; and five great-nephews, Brandon and David Dennis, Trent Hassel, and Judson and Colton Toth.
Randy was preceded in death by his grandparents and his father.
DENNIS — Visitation for Randy Scott Dennis, who died Wednesday, April 1, 2015, will be at the Cunningham Funeral Home, 306 Bessemer Ave., Grove City, from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday.Funeral service will be Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Willard Morse, visitation pastor of Grace United Methodist Church, officiating.Burial will be in Harmony Cemetery, Harrisville.
