Lawrence W. Irvine
Lawrence W. Irvine, 67, of Jefferson Township passed away Sunday at home following a lengthy illness.
He was born July 11, 1947, in Harrison Township, a son of the late Willard and Sara (Bowser) Irvine, and had lived in Jefferson Township since 1971, and, before that, Curtisville.
Mr. Irvine worked in the maintenance department for PPG Paints in Springdale for 30 years and was retired.
A member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Jefferson Township, he was a 1968 graduate of Har-Brack High School, and enjoyed gardening, his pet dog, Hannah, but he especially enjoyed being with his family.
Lawrence is survived by his wife of 46 years, Cynthia A. (Rowan) Irvine; his children, Scott L. (Audrey) Irvine of Natrona Heights, Shaun A. (Kelly) Irvine of Brackenridge and Christina D. Irvine and Shawn Wilcox of Binghamton, N.Y.; his grandchildren, Dane, Robby and Reagan Irvine, and Henry Wilcox; his sister, Beverly (Francis) Sloan of West Leechburg; and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Irvine was preceded in death by his parents only.
IRVINE — Visitation for Lawrence W. Irvine, who died Sunday, April 5, 2015, will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the Duster Funeral Home, 347 E. 10th Ave., Tarentum, where a service will be conducted Wednesday at noon with his pastor, the Rev.
