Frances I Miller

Frances I. Miller, 89, of Chicora passed away at 3:33 a.m. Thursday at Good Samaritan Hospice at Concordia.

Frances was born April 21, 1925, in Hilliards. She was the daughter of the late Floyd Hilliard and the late Ruth Parton Hilliard.

She was a homemaker and a member of Hilliards Methodist Church. Frances enjoyed playing cards and was a member of several card clubs. She also enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Frances is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Chris (Mary) Price of Chicora; one son, Fred (Kandy) Pflugh of Hooker; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Also surviving are one sister, Margie Gold of Hilliards; and one stepdaughter, Beth Miller of Pittsburgh.

Frances was preceded in death by her husbands, Charles “Bob” Pflugh and Frank Miller; one grandchild; one brother; and four sisters.

MILLER — The family of Frances I. Miller, who died Thursday, April 9, 2015, will receive friends at William F. Young Funeral Home, 132 Main St., West Sunbury from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday. Funeral services will follow at 8 p.m. with her grandson, the Rev. Ron Jaworski, officiating.
