Doris Maxine Moore
Doris Maxine Moore, 89, of Butler, passed away surrounded by her family on Thursday at her home.
She was born Aug. 29, 1925, in Butler, the daughter of the late Wayne Thompson and Luella (Whitmire) Thompson.
Doris was a longtime member of Grace@Calvary Lutheran Church. She was a kind woman, who devoted her time to her children and grandchildren.
Surviving are her husband of 71 years, Joseph Moore; two daughters, Mrs. Dale (JoAnn) Blain of Butler and Mrs. Steve (Janet) Trimbur of Butler; four grandchildren, Tammi Delano, Greg Trimbur, Marcy Trimbur and Tiffany Lineman; eight great-grandchildren, Nick, Nate, Brody, Joe, Maci, Noah, Billy and Niven; sister Alberta Kroh of Butler; and two brothers, Donald Thompson and Robert Thompson, both of Butler.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Moore — Friends will be received at the Young Funeral Home, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler, today from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.Services will be held at Grace@Calvary Lutheran Church, 123 E. Diamond St., Butler, on Saturday at 10 a.m. with the Rev.
