Ronald E. Hetrick

Ronald E. Hetrick, 63, of West Sunbury died Monday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born June 11, 1951, in Brook-ville, he was the son of Charles Webster and Jennie Evelyn (Raybuck) Hetrick. He married Rhoda Frances (Clark) Hetrick on Dec. 5, 1987, and she survives.

He worked as a maintenance man for the National Park Service. He was an avid Steelers fan and outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and he was an expert marksman. He also enjoyed Black and Tan coonhounds and Morgan horses.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons, Charles Hetrick of Beaver Falls, Lance Hetrick of Nacogdoches, Texas, and Jake Hetrick of West Sunbury; one sister, Kathy Drenning of Fairmount City; nieces and nephews, Mandy Downs of New Bethlehem, Sherry Nicolli of Fairmount City, Scott Drenning of Fairmount City, Kelli Kosmiski of Leeper, Jennifer Pago of Templeton, Shawna Lindemuth of Corsica, Carmine Hetrick of Pennsylvania, and Jerry Hetrick Jr. of Pennsylvania; and two sisters-in-law, Vickie Raybuck of Hawthorn and Becky Hetrick of Ingram.

He was preceded in death by both of his parents and one brother, Gary Paul Raybuck.

HETRICK — Friends of Ronald E. Hetrick, who died Monday, April 27, 2015, will be received from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Zion Lutheran Church in Shannondale. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. at the church with the Rev. Jim Steingass officiating.Interment will be in the Shannondale Union Cemetery.The family suggests if you do not wish to purchase flowers, please bring a fishing lure or a memory of Ron.Arrangements are being handled by the Alcorn Funeral Home in Hawthorn.Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.alcornfuneralhome.com.
