Michael J. Olen
Michael J. Olen, 62, of Butler passed away at 3:05 a.m. Monday at the Butler Memorial Hospital Emergency Room.
He was born Sept. 3, 1952, in Butler to the late John Olen and Edna LaVonne (Dietrich) Olen.
Michael worked as a fork lift operator in the Coil Warehouse Department at AK Steel before his retirement.
He enjoyed golfing, doing crossword puzzles and playing the lottery. Michael enjoyed going to Mama Rosa's with his buddies, and he was an avid Pirates fan.
Michael is survived by one daughter, Lisa Marie Olen of Valencia; one sister, Melanie J. Olen of Butler; one nephew, Michael R. Olen and his fiancee, Heather Shreve, of Butler; one great-nephew, Cameron; one great-niece, Adelyn; two aunts; and several cousins.
OLEN — Friends of Michael J. Olen, who died Monday, May 4, 2015, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler.Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Kris Denning of the Oak Hill Christian Church officiating.
