Judy LeGrand

Judy L. LeGrand, 68, of Butler passed away Tuesday at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.

Born March 3, 1947, in Butler, she was a daughter of the late Ray and Goldie Allice Steele Fennell.

She was employed by the Moonlight Mushroom Mine in Worthington, Pa., for 23 years until its closing. She then went to work for the Sears Department Store in Butler, retired following 10 years of service.

She enjoyed camping, playing poker, the casino, bingo and puzzles.

Surviving are her husband, Larry G. LeGrand Sr., who she married July 13, 1964; two sons, Larry (Diana) LeGrand Jr. and Gregory (Jennifer) LeGrand, both of Butler; one daughter, Lori Young of Butler; 11 grandchildren, Todd, April, Steven, Shane, Alycia, Sara, Haylee, Kayla, Kelly, Zane and Hope; six great-grandchildren, Drake, Holtin, Zachary, Landon, Caden and Andrew; one sister, Barbara (Paul) Davis of Butler; one brother, Timothy L. (Deborah) Dunlap of Chicora; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas R. Fennel.

LEGRAND — Family and friends of Judy L. LeGrand, who died Tuesday, May 12, 2015, are invited to attend a celebration of life gathering from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Happy Hunters Club, 676 Chicora-Fenelton Road, Fenelton.Arrangements are being handled by the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler.
