Richard Leonhard

Richard Leonhard, 69, of Petrolia passed away Friday with his family at his side after a long illness.

Born Feb. 2, 1946, in Gibsonia, he was the son of the late Harry and Clara (Ritter) Leonhard. The quick witted Rich could fix anything and was a master of “tinkering in his garage.”

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Janet Z. (Robbins) Leonhard of Petrolia; his son, Timothy (Jennifer) Leonhard of Bethel Park; his daughters, Danielle (David) Bazner of Gibsonia and Robin (Joseph) Gigliotti of Allison Park; his grandchildren, Alex, Katie, Christopher and Ellena; his sister, Esther L. Ramsden of Richland Township; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Shirley Marburger; and brother Harry Leonhard Jr.

LEONHARD — The family of Richard Leonhard, who died Friday, June 19, 2015, will welcome friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at King Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 2841 Woodland Circle, Allison Park.A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest at the Lakewood Memorial Gardens in Cheswick.If desired, memorial donations may be made in his honor in support of the American Cancer Society, Pennsylvania Division, Inc.
