The German a cappella group Vocaldente will perform as part of the Slippery Rock University Performing Arts Series.

SLIPPERY ROCK — Musical acts ranging from family performers to holiday and Broadway shows will be part of the 2015-16 Slippery Rock University Performing Arts Series.

Alice Tan Ridley, a finalist on NBC’s “America’s Got Talent,” will open the series Oct. 16 in the University Union.

The SRU Jazz Ensemble and SRU dance students will present “A Swinging Good Time,” in a café-style seating show Nov. 7 in the Smith Student Center.

“Holiday Nights and Days,” starring Kevin Spirtas, Broadway singer and actor, will be presented with café-style seating Dec. 4 in the University Union. The show will combine Broadway and holiday tunes.

The German a cappella group Vocaldente will perform March 24 in the University Union. The group is best known for its acoustic concerts.

Barrage 8, from the creators of the show “Barrage,” will feature all the instruments in the modern string family exploring the music from a variety of genres in their April 28 concert in the University Union.

Showtime for all performances is 7:30 p.m. Tickets for individual shows are available. Season tickets are $76 for general admission; $68 for seniors; $60 for youths age 17 and younger; and $28 for SRU students. Call 724-738-2018.
