Man sought for burglary, trespass
MIDDLESEX TWP — Police are looking for a township man who allegedly tried to break into the house of someone he knows.
Township police are charging Kevin Randolph, 23, with burglary and criminal trespass — both felonies — after he apparently tried to gain entry to a house on Laurel Lane about midnight Thursday.
According to a police report, Hannah Yoho called police to report that she had heard a knock on her door and shortly after that heard the bathroom window open upstairs.
She told police that she went to the bathroom and saw Randolph outside the window on the roof. She said Randolph greeted her, and Yoho told him to get off the roof.
Police found tracks leading away from the house into the woods, but could not find Randolph, according to court papers. Police went to Randolph’s house on Pittsburgh Road and could not find him.
The report said Yoho recognized Randolph because she knew him from school and had seen him a few days before the incident.
