Richard J. Dudeck

Richard J. Dudeck, 76, of Gibsonia and Cape Canaveral, Fla., formerly of Rochester, N.Y., died Friday afternoon at UPMC Passavant Hospital in McCandless Township.

Born on Feb. 16, 1939, in Yonkers, N.Y., he was the son of the late Michael and Anna Damczek Dudeck.

A graduate of Manhattan University, Richard was an information systems analyst and manager for Eastman Kodak for 30 years. After retirement, he continued his education to become a certified financial planner and did financial planning.

A member of St. Kilian Church, he was an avid golfer and coin collector, but he especially treasured the times spent with his family.

Surviving are his wife, Madeleine Falcone Dudeck, whom he married on July 7, 1962; one daughter, Christine Valenta and her husband, Paul, of Gibsonia; one son, Richard J. Dudeck Jr. and his wife, Rhonda, of Tulsa, Okla.; and his grandchildren, Riley and Leslie Barnes, Garrett and Perrin Dudeck and Michaela and Nicholas Valenta.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Dudeck, II.

Dudeck, who died Friday, May, 22 2015, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, 238 Crowe Ave. Mars.A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in St. Kilian Church, 7076 Franklin Road, Cranberry Township, with the Rev.
