Marvin Mottern
Marvin Richard Mottern, 85, of Butler passed away Monday at the Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
He was born April 22, 1930, in Butler, the son of the late Marvin A. and MaBelle (Hutchison) Mottern.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, having served in the Korean War. He retired from Armco.
Surviving are his daughter, Michelle Thrower of Colorado Springs, Colo.; his only grandchild, Jarrad Thrower of Colorado Springs; his son-in-law, Douglas Thrower of Colorado Springs; his longtime friend, Carol Vinroe of Renfrew, and her children.
Preceding him in death are one daughter, Myrrhin Mottern in 1990 and one brother, Victor C. Mottern in 2000.
MOTTERN — Arrangements for Marvin Richard Mottern, who died Monday, June 8, 2015, are being handled by the YOUNG FUNERAL HOME, Butler. He will be buried at Greenlawn Burial Estates.
