Sandra DiRocco
Sandra Gail DiRocco, 56, of Darlington passed away peacefully Wednesday in her home surrounded by her family after a long and courageous battle.
Sandy was born Jan. 26, 1959, in Butler to the late Robert and Phyllis (Hilliard) Cashdollar.
She was the third of four children with a personality so large you almost forgot her petite size. She spoke her own language composed of sarcasm, wit and more curse words than a sailor; a legacy she fondly passed on to her three children.
Her family and friends will always remember her love of gardening, dirty jokes and her obsession with hummingbirds, which her children will likely continue to tease her about in death, as they did in life, until she haunts them.
Sandy is survived by her loving family, including her husband, Phil DiRocco, and her children, Heather (Chris) Milardo, Dennis (Brittany) Miller and Margo Parker. She also leaves behind seven grandchildren, who were the light of her life, Whitnee Miller, Ryleigh Parker, Landon Russell, Ava Parker, Nicholas Milardo, Garrett Black and Easton Miller. Her circus full of loved ones also include her siblings, Robert (Joanie) Cashdollar Jr., Shelby (David) Gregg and Todd (Penny) Cashdollar; her sister-in-law, Patti (Ed) Campbell; and several nieces and nephews.
DIROCCO — In keeping with the wishes of Sandra Gail DiRocco, who died Wednesday, June 10, 2015, there will be no visitation or funeral services, but rather a celebration of her life will be conducted at her home for friends and family on Saturday.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to UPMC St. Margaret’s or Heritage Hospice in thanks for their care and kindness.
