Gary Rumburg

Gary Rumburg, 67, of Butler passed away at 10:48 a.m. Monday at the VNA Inpatient Hospice.

He was born June 21, 1948, in Whitesville, W.Va., to the late Norman Rumburg and Glenda (Null) Rumburg.

Gary was a 1966 graduate of Knoch High School.

He worked as an electrician for Fuelgraff Electric Co.

Gary was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. He was a member of Ducks Unlimited, a 32nd degree Mason, a member of Butler Lodge 272 F. and A.M. and volunteered at his church. Gary was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Gary is survived by his wife, Patricia (Gaiser) Rumburg, who he married June 27, 2001; one son, Troy Rumburg of Pittsburgh; one stepson, Tyler Mahood and his wife, Melissa, of Chicora; three grandchildren, Andrew Rumburg-Goodlin and Madison and Molly Mahood; two brothers, Wayne Rumburg and his wife, Linda, of Pittsburgh and Gerald “Pat” Rumburg and his fiancee, Lynn, of Englewood, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Bryan Gary Rumburg.

RUMBURG — According to the wishes of Gary Rumburg, who died Monday, June 29, 2015, there will be no public visitation.A memorial service for family and close friends will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 2217 Chicora Road, Chicora, with the Rev. Joseph J. Boomhower officiatingPrivate burial will take place at Summit Evangelical Presbyterian Church Cemetery.Arrangements are being handled by Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E.
