Eleanor Jean Kisiel

Eleanor Jean (Herrock) Kisiel, 82, of Natrona Heights went to be with the Lord on Thursday at the Good Samaritan Hospice Unit at Concordia, Cabot.

She was born Aug. 9, 1932, in Lyndora, a daughter of the late George and Julia Zavacky Herrock.

Eleanor will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

Known for being a true angel, she was always doing something nice for everyone. She enjoyed cooking, canning, crafting, quilting, and crocheting.

Eleanor was a retired nurse.

She was a member of Our Lady of the Most Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Parish, the Most Blessed Sacrament Church in Natrona Heights and for many years a member of the Ladies Guild of the church.

Eleanor is survived by her husband of 62 years, Edward Joseph Kisiel; her children, Martin Kisiel of Cheswick, Edward (Roberta) Kisiel of Upper Burrell, Mary (Craig) Felker of Annapolis, Md., and Lawrence Kisiel of Cranberry Township; her grandchildren, James, Martin, Thomas, Daniel, Brandon, Kristi, Charles, Angela, Jamie and David; and her great-grandchildren, Chase, Elliot, Nicholas, Jimmy and Jillian.

She is also survived by her sisters, Lois Simmer of Butler and Grace Herrock of Lyndora and by numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Raymond, John and Edward Herrock.

KISIEL — Visitation for Eleanor Jean (Herrock) Kisiel, who died Thursday, July 2, 2015, will be private.Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Monday at the Most Blessed Sacrament Church with the Rev. James Mazurek, her pastor, as celebrant.Burial will be at the Mt.
