Nancy Cameron

Nancy Stewart Cameron, 93, of Sherwood Oaks, Cranberry Township, joyously went to her heavenly home Tuesday, July 14, 2015.

She was a native of Newell, W.Va.; formerly of Brookside Farms, Bethel Park.

A graduate of Wells High School in West Virginia and Westminster College in Pennsylvania, Nancy taught business education at Chester High School in West Virginia for four years before becoming a homemaker.

She worked steadfastly as a volunteer to serve the Lord and his purposes as a charter member of the Pittsburgh Salvation Army Women's Auxiliary. She was a member of the Mount Lebanon Evangelical Presbyterian Church since 1946, where she led the Presbyterian Women's SERRV Mission Project for 18 years and was a lifetime member of the 79ers Class. She also mentored prisoners in the Bible Correspondence Program through Prisoner Fellowship.

She was the beloved wife of the late Harry Robert Cameron, who predeceased her by 11 years; cherished mother of N. Sue Gierhart (Chip) and Mary E. Cameron; grandmother to Brian Gierhart (Lucy) and Megan Stichter (Josh); and great-grandmother of Grayson, Linden, Nolton and Cameron.

CAMERON — A graveside committal service for Nancy Stewart Cameron, who died Tuesday, July 14, 2015, will be conducted in August by the Cameron family at the Mount Lebanon Cemetery.Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Glenn-Kildoo Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 130 Wisconsin Ave., Cranberry Township.Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the Cameron family at www.boylanfamilyservices.com
