Elinor P. (Ernest) Kane

Elinor P. (Ernest) Kane, 84, of Sunmine, Clinton Township, died Thursday.

Born June 27, 1931, in Cabot, she was the daughter of the late William Ernest and Evelyn G. (Murray) Ladie.

She owned and operated a travel agency, scheduling casino tours to Atlantic City for more than 20 years. She was a former member of the Eagles Women's Auxiliary in Butler. She enjoyed bingo and especially spending time with her family.

Survivors include her children, Joseph Kane of Bradford, James Kane, Linda (Jim) Eshenbaugh and Mike (Barbara) Kane, all of Sunmine, Clinton Township; 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and her sister, Elaine Nase of Russellton.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Kane; her sons, Patrick Thomas Kane and Robert Kane; and her brothers, James and Bucky Pennington.

KANE — The family of Elinor P. Kane, who died Thursday, July 30, 2015, will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the SIWICKI-YANICKO FUNERAL HOME, 23 McKrell Road, Russellton, West Deer Township, where funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday with the Rev.
