Lucille L. Croskey

Lucille L. “Lou” Croskey, 78, of Gibsonia passed away Saturday at UPMC Passavant, Pittsburgh.

She was the beloved wife for 58 years of Samuel P. Croskey; the loving mother of Samuel Mark (Sarah) Croskey of Gibsonia, Nellie (Charlie) Black of Sarver, Pauline (Jeff) Bauer of Kane and Pam Croskey-King of Valencia; the sister of June Pelles of Gibsonia and the late Dorothy, Fred, Howard and Betty; and the dear grandmother of Marc, Alexa, Brooke, Rebecca, Olivia, Melissa, Samuel, Adam and Abby.

Always a smile on her face, Lou loved working outside in her gardens and flower beds and spending time outdoors bird watching. A passionate cook and baker, she was known for her amazing pies, especially at the holidays. Above everything, Lou loved being with her family and watching her grandchildren grow. She will be dearly missed.

CROSKEY — Friends of Lucille L. “Lou” Croskey, who died Saturday, Aug. 1, 2015, will welcome friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. today and from 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at Schellhaas Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 5864 Heckert Road, Bakerstown.Services will be at the funeral home following visitation at 11 a.m. Tuesday.
