Victoria Weitzel

Victoria Marie Weitzel, 66, of Butler passed away Monday at UPMC Presbyterian.

She was born April 16, 1949, in Butler, the daughter of the late Nicholas and Josephine (Pollifrone) Podobensky.

Victoria has worked for MHMR as a mental health delegate and had owned her own cleaning business. She enjoyed going to yard sales and flea markets. Victoria had a close relationship with God. She especially loved spending time with her grandkids and loved the life she shared with her dogs over the years. She was very thankful for the gift of organ donation and appreciated the four years of life she was given with her double lung transplant.

Surviving are her husband of 34 years, Larry Weitzel of Butler; two daughters, Angela (Justin) Kearns of Butler and Richelle (Roger) Atkins of Georgia; one son, Joshua Weitzel of Butler; and six grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, John Podobensky.

WEITZEL — A memorial service to celebrate the life of Victoria Marie Weitzel, who died Monday, Aug. 10, 2015, will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the American Legion Post 117, 413 S.
