[naviga:h3]Butler Police[/naviga:h3]

10:05 p.m. Thursday — Steven L. Hasychak, 60, of Butler was arrested following a suspected assault earlier in the morning at the Shore Street Apartments.

Hasychak and two other men are accused of attacking Curtis Goff and his girlfriend, Ashley Pint, at the apartment building. Both alleged victims were treated at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Goff suffered cuts on the left side of his face and on his left hand. Pint suffered facial swelling and a bump on top of her head.

Hasychak was arraigned on charges of aggravated assault, conspiracy to commit aggravated assault, and simple assault. He was later placed in the Butler County Prison on $5,000 bail

Police earlier arrested Anibal Gonzalez, 38, and Bryan R. Sanchez, 19, both of Butler, on similar charges in connection with the incident.

Gonzalez and Sanchez are in the county prison on $10,000 bail each.

Sept. 5 — Justin J. Hopkins, 28, of Grove City allegedly attacked another person at the parking lot of 1400 Carrie Way. Hopkins is charged with simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct.

[naviga:h3]State Police, Franklin[/naviga:h3]

9 a.m. Saturday — A woman was caught trying to get back her vehicle that police impounded at Hovis Towing on Emlenton-Clintonville Road in Scrubgrass Township. The suspect, Crystal M. Anthony, 25, of Clarion allegedly climbed through a fence at the towing business. Anthony is charged with trespass.

[naviga:h3]State Police, Kittanning[/naviga:h3]

1:21 a.m. Sunday — Richard Bisch, 50, of Ford City was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after his car was clocked going 82 mph in a 45 mph zone on Fifth Avenue on Ford City.

Friday — A thief stole unspecified tools belonging to a 62-year-old Templeton man that were in his pickup truck in Boggs Township. The theft happened between Aug. 28 and Friday.

Sept. 5 — Joyce M. Anderson, 42, of Slippery Rock was arrested after she and two men allegedly stole $150 worth of merchandise from the Walmart at Hilltop Plaza in East Franklin Township. Anderson was arraigned on felony charges of retail theft and conspiracy to commit retail theft. Anderson is free on $1,500 unsecured bail. Police have identified her suspected accomplices, who were not immediately arrested.

[naviga:h3]State Police, New Castle[/naviga:h3]

9 a.m. Aug. 13 — An identity thief bought a camper for $2,000 on eBay using a bogus PayPal account in the name of a 48-year-old man from Slippery Rock Township, Lawrence County.

[naviga:h3]State Police, Mercer[/naviga:h3]

Saturday — A plastic convex traffic mirror was stolen from the end of a driveway at a home on Milburn Road in Springfield Township. The theft happened between 8 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. Saturday.

1:38 a.m. Tuesday — A 17-year-old boy escaped from the George Junior Republic juvenile detention facility in Pine Township, Mercer County, and later stole unspecified items from a vehicle. The youth, who police did not identify, was later captured. He was also found with the stolen property.

The boy is charged with escape, theft from a vehicle and receiving stolen property.
