Dolores Lawson

Dolores Ann Lawson, 84, of Slippery Rock passed away at 4:13 p.m. Saturday.

She was born on Feb. 14, 1931, to Lou Kobielus and Olga Masula Kobielus. She married Oswald Lawson on July 26, 1958, and he preceded her in death Jan. 27, 1988.

Dolores was a homemaker most of her life. She was a Catholic and attended St. Robert Bellarmine Roman Catholic Church in East McKeesport, Pa. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family.

Survivors include a son, Craig J. Lawson and his wife, Janice, of Slippery Rock; sister-in-law, Marion Kach and her husband, Victor, of North Versailles, Pa.; brother-in-law, James Lawson and his wife, Jean, of Irwin, Pa.; niece, Vicki Lynn Sich and husband, Gary, of North Huntingdon, Pa.; nephew, Gary Kach and wife, Pam, of White Oak, Pa.; nephew, Jeff Lawson of Ohio; great-niece, Rachel Sich; and two great-nephews, Matthew and Daniel Sich.

She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.

LAWSON — The family of Dolores Ann Lawson, who died Saturday, Aug. 15, 2015, will receive friends from 3:30 p.m. until the time of service at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Smith Funeral Home, 421 New Castle St., Slippery Rock.Funeral services will be at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. James Lewis of Butler presiding. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in North Versailles on Route 30
