Albert J. Glenn

Albert J. Glenn, 88, formerly of Washington Township, passed away Wednesday at Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Butler.

Albert was born July 26, 1927, in Cadiz, Ohio, to the late Samuel and Anna (Ward) Glenn.

He worked as a truck driver for Breman Trucking, Monroeville. He was a veteran serving in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church of New Kensington and the Kiski Bootleggers Camp Club. He enjoyed fishing, camping and woodworking.

Albert is survived by his two children, Valarie (Louis) Amarando of Butler Township and Bryan (Amy) Glenn of Monroeville; three grandchildren, Aaron, Tyler and Brandon Amarando; one brother, Elmer Glenn of Sarver; and one sister, Norma Sterling of Grove City, Ohio.

In addition to his parents, Albert was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Jean (Beighley) Glenn, on April 11, 2014; and his brother, George Glenn.

Glenn, who died Wednesday, Aug. 26, 2015, are invited from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday to the ROBERT PETERS FUNERAL HOME, 1521 Freeport Road, Natrona Heights, 724-224-7730, where a service will immediately follow at 5 p.m. with the Rev.
